Kha watched as the earth changed before his very eyes—terrified, the colt unwittingly shifted into his ghost form after being struck across the face and became separated from his mother. He spent the next twenty years wandering aimlessly across Beqanna in search of her; invisible, undetected, and unaware of his ability to shift back into his living body, Kha’s efforts to reach out to others were often met with fear or anger.

Although not at all his intention, Kha was likely the fuel behind many a ghost story that cropped up over the last two decades. Especially the ones that mention a child laughing. Kha met his grandmother, unknowingly, on the beaches during a storm. Her touch forced him back to his living body but only for a short while until he is filled with sadness watching the mare who saved him and her daughter not much "older" than he was. Kha melts back into his ghost form slipping back into his haunted forest to practice for the next 10yrs how to control his ability. Aging only to a yearling between changes he is coming back to make an appearance among the living.
