a question for youuuu - Call - 02-23-2017

hello

so say a character has TEGteg..does this mean that they can NEVER display traits? for example if they won an expressed genetic trait in a quest or a player used a birthday trait on a pony with this?

how would differentiating between expressed and non expressed be determined if so?
say it was
TEGteg[PANTHER SHIFTING][cat eyes]
and the player asked for immortality for their birthday would the immortality not get expressed because of the tegs? how would you even tell in the code?
TEGteg[PANTHER SHIFTING][IMMORTALITY][cat eyes]

i dont understand

TEGteg or even TEGTEG horses can express traits if they win it in quests, and in those cases it's shown as TEGteg [-WINGS-] or whatever the trait is. The same is true for horses who join with a trait, as we still roll their teg since they don't have lines.

In the example, the horse that got immortality as a birthday prize would be:
TEGteg[-IMMORTALITY-][PANTHER SHIFTING][cat eyes]

also: this is all in the genetics guide :)
