GAME OVER [Any who dare play, Jinju] - Ouija - 04-09-2017

Just as one game ended another began.  His dark frame traveled easily across the thickened forests.  West was his direction and his destination, well that was unknown.  His thoughts still hung on the ruby eyed beauty within the forests he left.  Into view now was a colorful canopy of his favorite hues.  The colors reminding him of the flames that flickered across her sleek frame.  Smirk playing with his lips at the thought.  Ugh He shook the thoughts from his brain.  Surely one such as himself could not be tempted so easily...

As he approached the redwood and pine treeline he stopped.  Crimson eyes gazed across the new lands vastness.  Thoughts churning in his mind of what games were to be had here...

Again he paid no mind to needing an invitation.  This time though he lingered along the border.  Muzzle to the ground as nares flared.  There was an enticing scent here.  Ears thrusted forward as he curiously followed it's trail...

RE: GAME OVER [Any who dare play, Jinju] - Djinni - 04-09-2017

The summer sun is dimmed by the trees overhead, but there is still plenty of light by which to navigate the woods.

Djinni is alone this afternoon, having sent Ivar off to play in the water, and she wanders the familiar path with no real destination in mind. Is it rare for her to have time alone - a consequence of parenthood - and she is almost relaxed when she hears the sound of hoofsteps.

The source is farther into the woods, and Djinni muffles a sigh as she alters her direction to move closer. She is in her natural form, so the mousy grey and white mare that steps from behind a beech tree to stand in front of the black stranger is far from intimidating. She is barely more than a pony, with her mother's delicate build. Yet the way that she stands between the stranger and the rest of the land of Sylva is full of confidence, and her voice is friendly as she greets him.

"Welcome to Sylva." She tells the stranger. "What brings you to our woods?"

RE: GAME OVER [Any who dare play, Jinju] - Raxa - 04-09-2017

Raxa was a loyal warrior for the kingdom. She performed her duties with the utmost effort she could, watching over the others who lived here, going out on mock battles, and patrolling the borders to make sure there were no threats present that could harm any members of the kingdom.

Which is why she was one of the first to pick up on something wrong. Raxa just seemed to know when there was trouble somewhere on the border line, perhaps an innate sense she developed because her desire to protect Sylva was that strong. She didn't know why she could sense it, and didn't complain; it helped her have a grasp on things around here, confront the trouble before the threat got any bigger.

Raxa had been with Anahi a while ago, learning about some speaking tactics. Raxa wasn't usually one to watch her mouth, much like Zhenga, and that got her in trouble. As a seasoned warrior and kingdom members, she knew she also had to learn how to show respect if she wished for Sylva's best fortune. So, she'd taken to asking Anahi for lessons on how to present oneself. Anahi had been teaching her for a few weeks now, and Raxa was making some progress. After their work that morning ended, Raxa left Anahi in the herd's main grazing meadow, going out to look over the borders.

When she felt something was wrong, she picked up the pace, and then spotted him easily near the trees. A stallion, a tall being, but tall didn't mean strong. Raxa began galloping toward him, picking up speed when Djinni also appeared. Not wanting to appear threatening, Raxa slowed down her gait as she got closer and closer, her pace a calm walk as she got up next to her leader.

"Djinni, is everything all right?" she asked in the calmest voice she could muster despite her unease around the stallion, "I was out checking the border when I sensed something was wrong. Has this stranger done something?"

RE: GAME OVER [Any who dare play, Jinju] - Ouija - 04-11-2017

The brilliant glow of the autumn leaves as the setting sun radiated off them was slowly fading as he had progressed along the borders.  Chosing his path semi-carefully as to not draw attention just yet.  He was naturally a creature of darkness.  Lurking amongst the shadows searching for sources of his amusement.  Before long he had been spotted by residents.  Not that he was necessarily hiding from anyone.  Crimson eyes focused upon the granite form approaching much too boldly.  She was far to small for him to be concerned about.  There were these gifts though that some possessed so he was curiously cautious.  What fun would she have in store for him?

As she neared and offered a greeting, much to his surprise, he halted from his wanderings.  Was he looking for something or someone?  He had forgotten.  A sideways smirk crept onto his features as she questioned him.  "Boredom..." Was his simple answer.  Just as she finished another appeared beside her.  Halting at the side of the grey mare and questioning her.  Smirk grew as he realized she must hold an important position here in... Sylva.  He could sense the newcomer was less bold, approaching carefully and his interests shifted.  Crimson eyes resting upon the face of the rosy mare as she spoke of him.  His stare never straying from her as he spoke calmly, "Yes, have I done something wrong?"  His question not needing a true answer but he waited quietly nonetheless.  He hadn't done anything wrong... Yet.

RE: GAME OVER [Any who dare play, Jinju] - Djinni - 04-22-2017

djinni

The quick beat of hoofsteps causes her to turn, and her green eyes brighten in the smile that she gives Raxa. The bold roan mare is ever-ready at Sylva’s defense, and Djinni is grateful to have her. She brindle is a comforting presence at her side as she faces the stranger. His answer is not particularly reassuring, but then it is not threatening either. It’s not one she’s heard – at least not as a reason for crossing into a kingdom. The meadow is where one goes when they are bored – the meadow or the forest.

“That depends,” she when the black stallion echoes Raxa’s question. Her tone is still light enough that the words following could be teasing, though her demeanor doesn’t change. “On what you plan on doing to sate your boredom.”

She pauses for a moment, feeling the wind blow her dark hair against her neck. She could leave him to wander as she might another stranger, but something tells her that perhaps that would not be the wisest choice. “We’ve got some lovely scenery here, if that’s something you’re interested in.”
