Even though she spend a lot of her time in the Taiga, she couldn’t really complain about it. Ever since Reagan had brought her here Jinju had felt at home. She loved the pine tree forest as much as she had once loved the Jungle. It was a much part of her as the fire that burned within her. In the Taiga she had found the home again that was once taken from her. She felt safe here and couldn’t imagine a life not in the Taiga.

Another good thing of the Taiga was that her family lived here too. Or at least, the part that was left of it. But honestly, that made her treasure the bonds she still had even more. And Jinju desperately wanted to make sure these wouldn’t get broken. She might look like a tough girl, but deep down she needed the affection and love only a family could offer.

One of those family members she was eager to get to know better. A couple of weeks ago she had found Enfys in the forest, or the girl had found her actually, and only because their mother wanted it to be like that. It had stirred so many feelings within Jinju, but most of all she was grateful. Grateful that her mother trusted her most precious ‘belonging’ to her. And Jinju treasured her sister just as much.

"Enfys?" Today she would have good and fun news for her sister. Or at least, Jinju hoped that Enfys would like it. She knew she was still young and probably not yet mother material, but her sibling had stirred something within her. And from one thing came another. Jinju hoped Enfys would be excited for it. Excited to become an aunt. In her perfect world her whole family would be involved, sharing her joy and building a good life for all ofthem.
