Kahvi
Differences make good sparks.
Even though she had just made the trip from Nerine to the field, there was no way that the navy blue filly was able to find her way back home. She’d been focussed on what Starlin had been doing and not paid much attention to anything else. And honestly, she was too young to think about ‘later’ and what possible consequences her actions could have.

Right now Kahvi is looking at Starlin too, her dished head tilting slightly to the side as she does so, but it doesn’t take her long before she hurries to the older filly’s side. Travelling at her role model’s side was much better than alone and ‘secretly’ following behind.

Her ears twist to catch the spoken words between Starlin and Elindor. The mention of their queen – her adoptive mother – and a couple of others has the girl smiling and eagerly nodding her head. ”You should meet them! They’re very nice” she jumps in on the subject, as she bounces at Starlin’s side. Her silver eyes move from Starlin to Elindor. ”Ardashir lives in Nerine too, he looks almost just like you!” She meant the mare’s and Ardashir’s coat colors.

The longer they walk the more silent Kahvi becomes. The trip to the field had already exhausted her, but the adrenaline had kept her going. Now, thinking of home, has her realising how tired she is. With each step it feels like her legs are getting heavier and slowly she starts to slow down. She pushes her midnight black nose up against Starlin’s side. ”Are we almost home? I’m tired..” she mumbles softly, her silver eyes focussed on the grullo filly.
