Bloody hell it’s cold.

The grullo mare stands at the base of the wall, shivering against the icy wind that’s cutting across the outside of the Tundra. She’d heard of the Tundra weather many times before, but she hadn’t been prepared for the chill that’s started to settle in to her very bones.

She could change it of course, she could do it easily. But she’s stubborn. And as a weather user, she believes that she needs to get used to all weather, not just the weather in her warm and muggy homeland. Who knows when a resistance against the cold might come in handy.

As it is, she has little resistance now. Life in the Jungle has made her used to warmth, and there is none of that here. She huddles in closer to the wall, trying to get out of the wind, but it’s useless. She’s just going to have to freeze for now.

Hopefully someone will at least be along soon though, and that will help to distract her from the cold. If she’s especially lucky, it will be the stallion she’s looking for, the reason she’s here. Errant - king of the Tundra, and almost grandfather. If it’s not Errant, well, she’ll take whatever distraction she can get at this point.
