Tephra was her home now, but she missed the wonderful scent the forest carried. She was a loner for so long, she called the Forest her home for years, she would not just abandon it. The icy blue mare galloped through the fluffy freshly fallen snow. The white flakes flew about as she stormed through, her hooves leaving a print with every step. 

She finds herself deeper in the forest than she planned, she put her front legs out and slid to a halt, throwing a pile of snow on her own chest. She snorted with annoyance of the cold snow and shook her body to remove as much as she could. She was in a wide opening with a few bare trees around her and a few evergreens that provided the only burst of color. 

Her ears were perked and she scanned her horizon, there was not a soul in sight. A smile tugged at her lips, she stretched out her wings and fluttered them a few times before they changed from Pegasus to dragon wings. Her eyes gazed upon the scaly wings that lay on her back and she gave a nod approving Finally she mutters to herself. 

She moves her head to focus on the snow that lays on the ground, with a smirk still on her maw she sways her eyes up and then left and right; the snow follows dancing about as she commands. It twirls before her, almost like a mini tornado made of snow. The snow then scatters almost like a thin wall before her and she gently let it fall back to the ground it came from.
