Pixels are down & taking hosting recommendations - devin - 04-19-2018
I am aware that images hosted by me - including all pixel links and some htmls I’ve done recently - are down. I’m working on it but I can’t contact the host (imgbox) because their contact requires a captcha which is ALSO not working. I’ll have to do it from my computer not my phone so expect some delays to functionality, and please leave a message here or PM me if you’re missing something so I can try and work on those first.
Since this happened less than a year ago on photobucket and is not happening to me on imgbox, I’m taking recommendations for a new place to host images. My #1 requirement is free, but I also prefer sites where I can have an account and keep images all together for later access rather than ones where you upload a link and then never see that exact page/image again except through that link.

My only suggestion would be Deviantart. I keep all my refs etc. on there and they're never lost. Keeps the transparent bg and sizes the images perfectly. Also handy because you can organize all your submissions.

I have all of them saved which is fine, I can reupload them, but I can’t link off of DA for htmls and pixels, can I?

because of all this i just switched to Tumblr
I made a blog just for my little pixels and some of my own images as a safe place to keep them all in one spot (other than saved on my old computer)

@[kahzie] - getting poor reports about tinypic but at least should be able to save this and go from there from one of these two
Not a huge fan of how long it takes the upload process on DA, but also not a fan of how Tumblr makes the poor thing so big and distorted. So. Tinypic will work for actual links for now I suppose, and I’ll think about it. People should be saving and uploading their own anyway, so it should just be permanency I’m looking for for html pics and my own avatars.

Thanks everyone! I’m going to throw html pics onto postimage for now so they can get fixed ASAP and work on probably backlogging the pixels onto DevianArt but that will take AGES.
