Just curious and I'm not sure whos all available cuz Cassi has been busy lately.
Can we opt to roll for a mutation of a rolled expressed trait?
Exp: _________ shifting mutates to different animal shifting of fairy choice
_________(element trait) mutates into different trait with same element of fairy choice

Yes, you can request a mutation of a trait, assuming it is inherited.
Keep in mind that the trait will be related to the original trait (ie fish shifting won't become elephant shifting) and the resulting mutation might be smaller than the original trait but won't ever be larger.

traits will also mutate at the fairy's discretion.
so not all traits will mutate, even if requested.
