Every moment of their journey, the three not-children are watched. With baited breath, they wait, until at last the trio arrives on the mountain. Their pebbles are dirty, coated in the sea mud, but that is unimportant.<br><br> The stone-eyed fairy moves forward from his kin, and the pebbles lift in the air around him, shedding the dirt and grime that clings to them. They float, fifteen bits of stone from every part of Beqanna, and his granite face cracks into a smile.<br><br> <b>"You have done well."</b> He says, his voice like a landslide. <b>"You have done what no others could, and you have done so in spite of your youth."</b> There is something almost like pride in his eyes as he looks over them, and when at last he nods, they are changed.<br><br> @[Eurwen], the girl who had charged so bravely at a monster with no gifts to help her, will find that she posseses a gift as impenetrable as her courage - the ability to manipulate stone.<br><br> @[Brazen] and @[Dagen] both played a vital role in the gathering of the pebbles, and receive the gift of stoneskin.<br><br> In addition to thier magical rewards, Eurwen, Brazen, and Dagen can choose to remain in the bodies of adults, or be aged back to children.
