It's something he hasn't quite understood and still can't wrap his head around. Women rarely, if ever, bring up loving emotions. He finds most of them to be inadequate and useless. A small handful proved him wrong through the years (Librette, Sage, Vampyric, and now Myrina).

He closes his eyes, trying to calm his mind before the usual onslaught of horses. He cannot go many places these days without being found out for who he is. Orange eyes, scarred beyond true recognition, ugly and squat. Covet is one of a kind, and not in a good way.
