If I already have a character with no children from said character (or even played for that matter) can I reuse that name?
Ex:
I have a horse named Daisy.
I never played Daisy. Daisy has no kids.
I want to use the name Daisy for a new horse instead.
May I?

If it's played by you and has no lines or children, that's absolutely fine, just mention in joining or breeding that you're reusing the name.
If it has lines that aren't exclusively yours you still may, just don't do it often, because it can mess with people who track lines
