ISRAFEL
Her embarrassment isn’t remarked upon and it fades into the back of her mind when Reave replies. She likes the sound of us and that this is only the beginning. Israfel does not have much of an imagination, she cannot imagine what will happen either at the top of this hill or tomorrow or a year from now.
But, like so many things with Reave, she is excited to find out what the future is going to bring.
Heat spreads across her skin at his chuckle, before he even gets to the response to her question about the look he had been giving her. Or maybe it’s the voice that he says it in - or the entire combination. Israfel is only mostly sure what he said was a compliment. It feels like a compliment, even if she does not quite get the meaning behind it. Her blush seems to know, though, even if her brain hasn’t caught up. “I like it.” She admits as her smile grows once again.
And then after a slight pause, a small breathless laugh. Really just a faint echo of the laugh he had made. “But it wouldn’t mean anything coming from just any healthy male.” It only mattered that it was him.
