{Voudou || Mare || Pregnant || Gates}
Voudou watched the gray mare leave, her ears flicked backwards listening to Black move towards the tree and lay down. He invited her over, calling the powerful mare his little spit fire. Ha! Little. Voudou was most definitely more than a little spit fire. She snorted, sending puffs of hot breath into the crisp winter air, where it hung for a few moments before finally disappearing.
It was another few moments before she turned back to the stallion, and she stared for a couple seconds, admiring how adorable he looked curled up in the snow, gently flicking the fresh flakes off his back with his tail. She wandered over to him, working up the energy to lower her large body to the ground as gracefully as possible. Down onto her knees, careful... careful! Oof! Ok maybe not so gracefully; it seemed nothing was pretty when you felt like a beach ball. A large sigh escaped her as she shifted her weight and got comfortable, eventually settling in a position where she could rest her head on the stud's stomach. He mentioned something about how he would be glad when spring returned, but Voudou was already dozing off, and only mustered up a small groan in reply.
And then she slept, much more peacefully this time. Voudou woke up just as the light was breaking over the horizon. Ranger was still under her skull and she pulled away from him as gently as she could so he could sleep. He would need his energy after all, spending a day with Voudou was usually both mentally and physically exhausting. She leaned against a tree and watched the ball of crimson fire rise, sending bright rays of red over the lands.
Voudou wasn't entirely sure just how long she stood there, watching the skies. "Are you ready to go? We should get going if I'm going to be getting a full tour of your place. I'm pretty slow moving these days."
