    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Every Story Has Two Sides
Hyaline never changed, even as he continues his growtg at the Cove. It is as vibrant as he remembers, a different scene for every direction. The territory had life to give for all upcoming children, as it once did for him.

His head turns as he hears tossing of rocks, and down the side of the mountain came the chestnut splashed mare he has grown so fond of. He quickly met her at the bottom of the hill, ensuring her safety down.

As she meets him she notes his lack of visits, and jokes that she almost came to visit him. A short laugh escape his maw and a smile tugs at his lips in response. The world around them seemed to be changing, but it was good to see that Kensa was not.

Time was not wasted, and the two were quickly found embraced. She brushes his lips which he fondly returns before she moves to press her chest against his. She playfully tugs at his mane, but he finds his head resting upon her shoulder, his maw gently stroking her. Kensa, his voice was gentle. His guilty mind flicked to Dawn, his soon to be queen that he has also grown fond of. how have you been? It seems our time together grows shorter and shorter. He admits the truth, but wonders who she fills her time with when he is gone, and it it will seize to exist in time. But for the moment he pushes those thoughts from his mind, and nestled deeper into the embrace.
