    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Brynmor, any.
    #1
Some say from ashes to ashes - she says from snow to snow. The long years drag by, and she finds herself without. Without safety, without trust, without a warmth inside of her brought on by the cold - brought on by her family. The Chamber never suited her, never highlighted the aspects of herself which ought to have shone for years now, and years again.

A subtle change comes over her mind as the sun rises above the kingdom that morning; her grey eyes, so reminiscent of her father Errant's, strain northward. From miles away, the breeze carries a scent of home; and it is not within her any more to deny the advances of her heart. She is without resistance.

    The Chamber falls behind her.

Time and time again has fallen atop her existence, and without contact has she been throughout it. She knows nothing of the Tundra any more - she has forgotten its king, has learned nothing of the equality movement. Xiah goes forth without a hope in her heart of in-statement to the kingdom, but rather with the hope of finding peace within herself once more.

For the Tundra has always been home, and as she enters its borders, she begins to float just above its rugged surface - an outward expression of her inward, boundless joy.
