    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

go to hell for heaven's sake

What a blessing it was to be innocent of the world’s own wickedness. Simply a blank canvas that does not have a splash of color on it. There is purity in such a form, but surely Sinner is not one of those. He is a canvas that has already been splattered with paints and colors of chaos and destruction. The very soul that fills his earthly body is tightly held by dark shadows and empty voids.

But, still, he is a child.

He does not know how to act on his purpose yet. Simply he is knowledgably but not entirely in a sense where he knows he must attend to his given purpose. The monster within him is uncontrollable and he will barely know what to do when he becomes hungry. He will hunt and kill—that’s all he knows.

It will always be what he knows.

“Don’t be so stupid,” he firmly says back when she defends herself, “I heard you miles away. You cried like a little baby.” Sinner’s smirk before widens further this time, taking up all of his dark features. “So, tell me why are you crying.” If there is one thing, he has started to come to hate in this world it is not getting the answers he seeks. And, he gets them from her whether she likes it or not.
