    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Don't get too close

Just being over a year now he had seen more than most his age.  Death, destruction, disfunction... To name a few.  Definitely more dark than light and still he keeps a calm demeanor.  Level minded, patient and... kind.  Too kind in the eyes of his father but who was he to judge him anyway...

As he crests the hill his blue gaze scans the area.  There was food a plenty, trees, water,...hills.  Hmmm but was there.... Ah yes. His eyes look upon the large blue haze upon the horizon.  The ocean.  He smiled a genuine smile.  The lands seemed to be lacking in inhabitants and he wondered who would appear to greet him, if any...
