CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT
& SATISFACTION BROUGHT HIM BACK
& SATISFACTION BROUGHT HIM BACK
It's difficult not to notice the change in Taiga's atmosphere compared to the last time he'd stop by for a visit. Though the territory looks the same with its low-lying fog and the unbelievably large redwoods, he can since that the overall demeanor has changed. It keeps his dark coat standing on end, despite the relaxed facade he's so used to portraying. Gryffen's red eyes are, perhaps, the most unsettling part about the new Taiga and Dahmer silently wonders if they glow in the dead of night.
"And who is it you had asked to see?" He cocks his head to the side, forelock falling gently over his blue eyes as he regards the Taigan King, but it seems that his inquiry will need to wait for a moment, as their conversation is interrupted by the rhythmic thudding of approaching hooves. Dahmer turns his dark head to investigate in hopes that he will get a chance to see who else calls Taiga home, but instead he is pleasantly surprised to see Karaugh revealing her sooty frame from the fog. "Karaugh," he greets her with a sly grin and a knowing chuckle as she crosses in front of the wraith-like Gryffen. He watches her closely, not entirely trusting of the mare from Sylva, but he remains friendly towards her, nonetheless. Besides, he might need another of her private tours in the future.
"Should we be expecting anyone else?" he wonders as he turns back to Gryffen, who had made it obvious that Taiga was not to be a meeting ground or a place to meander into all willy-nilly.
