    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Crimson skin weaves through the trees of Nerine, searching for her cliffs once more. It has become customary for her to stand by the edge where she had once been so ready to fling herself over. The meeting, surprisingly, had went well and Nayl had not banished her for her previous intents in her lands, so she roams quietly, keeping to herself more often than not. Save for the interaction with the dun, Tarvelie, and her child, Ardashir, Chrisma hadn't spoke to anyone else...although there was one equine who she thought much about.

Jaguar spots on toffee pelt - a sight to behold, a savior in the midst of a chaotic mind. Chrisma found herself thinking of her often - she hadn't received a name, but a message that continued to resonate with her as she roamed Nerine in search of some sort of a life for herself.

You aren't a victim, are you?

Besides her brief appearance when Nayl had called her people to a gathering, it seemed as though the mare had all but vanished from the lands Chrisma considered (at least somewhat) a home. If they were to meet again, she wasn't sure what she would say (if she could even muster the courage to talk to her in the first place), so maybe it was best that the jaguar mare stayed away.

However, not all wishes come true, and as the fiery mare steps out from the brush, a glimpse of dark spots on bay coat catches her eye. Hazel eyes peer at the figure, lost in her own world - so unknowing of the things she could do, of the power she held...well, at least that's how it seemed. A deep breath in and out, and Chrisma is as frozen as the atmosphere around her. What should she say? Was there anything she could say?

Golden eyes drop to the ground, and approach the figure. She tries to say something meaningful, but there is only one phrase she can muster.

    "We meet again."
