    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

[open]  It's not normal for a horse to be alone
    #1
Young Kentigearna deicded to settle down and graze on the abundant grass in the area. It was quiet and peaceful in the area, no disturbances, no bothers. Rain fell heavily on the land which provided everlasting cool refreshing water to make contact with her skin. Her tail and mane began to get soaked by all the water, but did she care? Nope, not really. The grass tasted sweet as she took mouthful after mouthful of food. Her tail swayed in content as she ate without a care in the world. Something did bother the young mare though. She had spent some time looking for a herd to join, but was told by a loner that there were herds who claimed land. She didn't want to intrude on territory that belonged to others. Yet she knew she wasn't meant to be alone, no horse was. Horses were meant to be in herds, at least that was what she was taught. Kentigearna didn't even know where to start, let alone where to look. The rain didn't seem it was going to let up anytime soon, but she was glad it wasn't. She took a glance at the sky, happy for the rain, but also grateful there was no thunder or lightning. Her mind drifted off to finding a herd, tired of being alone. Hopefully she could find one soon so she continued to eat her fill as the rain poured on.
