    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

[open]  It's not normal for a horse to be alone

The young mare continued to graze up until another mare decided to greet her. She seemed like a decent horse with god manners. "Hello." Kentigearna returned the greeting with a soft smile on her face. She took a closer look at the mare realizing she had a foal in tow. The small male looked as if he was filled with life, as all foals were. "Your son is very beautiful." Kentigearna knew that one day she wanted a foal of her own, but that was a long term goal to be thought of later. "What brings you here?" A question that brought curiousity upon the motherless Kentigearna. It seemed the rain was letting up, and the cold raindrops finally ceased.
