    The fairy, watching from the boughs of a burnt out tree, smiles.

    For all the sadness that the residents of Beqanna have caused her sisters, there is always brightness. This girl is one of those bright spots. With a blink of her disembodied eyes, she removes the pouch from around Kolera's neck and fulfills her earlier promise.
