When it’s said and done, we’ll have our scars to show
There was something about him.
He was intriguing, the blue stallion. His words and his actions captivated her, his body haunted her. Their night beneath the stars, the night she lost her virginity, was something she would never forget. She couldn't quite put her finger on what about him had drawn her in, but now she was there, and she was his, and that's all that seemed to matter anymore.
She knew he had others, although she did not care. She had seen his ghost girl, had seen his lioness, but neither of them mattered to her. All that mattered was that she was his dragoness, and he would protect her.
But Deimos had led her to the forest, where he had dug his claws into her skin. Blood trickled down her face, staining her ivory cheeks. She shouldn't have come here, she shouldn't have let the demon lead her here. He had let her go, for now, but soon she would have to face the consequences of allowing him to lure her in.
She wanders the forest aimlessly, face throbbing violently. She is tired (so tired), her body aches with restlessness. She falls against the sturdy branch of a nearby tree, chest heaving. The muscles beneath her skin feel as though they're burning. For the first time in a very long time, she is scared.
"Zephyr?" Almost as if by a miracle, she hears his throaty baritone. Relief floods her senses, and for a moment she gains the strength to approach him.
"Claw," She speaks breathlessly, staring longingly at him. He is here, does that mean she's safe...?
