The quiet breeze in the meadow hummed her a lullaby as she drifted off. Emerald lids shielded her summerset eyes as dreams of her life played like a motion picture. Endless fields of poppys laid in front if her as she galloped freely. Laughing innocently at the hoppers she kicked up from their hiding places. Racing with the tiny song birds that sported even brighter colors than she. As she dreamed the sweetest of dreams a smile grew on her lips.
Little filly, she heard words. Words that were not in the tone of fairies and very much misplaced in her dream. Her brows furrows as her conscious mind comes forth.
With a flutter of lids and swivel of her ears, her head lifts from it's resting place to find a bird-like equine looking down at her. More words spill from the alabaster mare, Are you hungry? Her gut grumbles and she looks to her side. A small snort rumbles her nares as she gives a shake to her head before motioning to stand again.
Once on her hooves, she looks to the stranger. Trying to place any form of recognition the mare could have to her. The confused look of her features breaks suddenly with an excited gasp, "Mommy?!" Jigging in place on tiny fore hooves she blurts out hopefully. A smile breaking her otherwise confused expression. Who else would come here to find her and offer food. It just had to be her!
