    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

the woods are lovely dark & deep [anyone]

She is robed in a gown of amber sunshine as she makes her way through the autumnal forest, her crown of summer leaves shaken easily as the cream mare tosses her head against the wind. How nice summer was in Sylva, the forest never allowing the harsh sun to harm her occupants or heat the ground to inhumane temperatures.

Though despite her desperate attempts mid day always seemed to heat the leaves greatly, and Lavendel was not too pleased with the scorching weather. The splashed woman made her way slowly to the river, her head lowered against the sun as   she walked.

To say the spotted stranger startled Lamb would have been an understatement, and the woman can't help the childish yelp that escapes her at the sight. it was not that the mare was particularly threatening, just not quite expected is all...

    "Oh dear... excuse me!"
She mawed stepping away in attempts to gather herself. With a deep breath and a rough roll of her petite shoulders she returns her sapphire gaze to the painted mare before her.

"I do apologize... I am Lavendel, and you are?"
Her words are kind and she tilts her head with the question. It had been quite some time since a new face came into their neck of Beqanna, and greeting was a big deal to the splashed woman. So greet she would.

    "Welcome to Sylva."
She offers when her question is answered, a soft smile pulling at her lips.
