She is unaware of his little side tour, but in all reality, even if she knew, it would not have bothered her. Yes, she would’ve preferred his presence – too long alone did that to her – but she is painfully aware that she is unable to race him from one to the other shore. Not that Kylin still holds any imagination of beating him.
The nip is met with a small smile, just a twitch of the corners of her lips, and she bends her neck to bump her muzzle against his chest. A silent and not fully meant ‘Hey, stop doing that.’ After that, she continues to the little copse, turning around to see the look upon his features. After all, Kylin always thought of her own opinion as less important (except when it comes down to leaving Ischia), now is not any different.
His words make her smile, and nod, her ears twitching lightly under his touch as a shiver jolts down her spine. Ivar always managed to do that. “Me too” she says softly, liking the closeness of the sea and the view, while also feeling shielded from watching eyes. Especially with her round womb, Kylin felt not comfortable out in the open.
She turns two times, searching the right spot to go down, before eventually lowering herself onto the still sun-warmed sand. A soft sigh escapes past her pale lavender lips, then her hazel eyes settle on Ivar. “Join me?” she asks in a soft whisper as she lowers her head, lips almost resting on the sand as her head suddenly feels incredible heavy. Perhaps she had asked a little too much of herself today after all, and so it does not long before she starts drifting to sleep.
