    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

The bats have left the bell tower

    The victims have been bled

Winter had taken over the world with it's icy breath, killing all green life in the land. Slowly it's dark cold breath crept up under the thick dark grullo coat of young Talzanna. Her dark refined head stuck out, neck like that of a snake creeping along the crevices of a stone wall. Searching for what not was there. She barely remembered a time when she had others around her. Having not met her father, and her mother spending no time with her, you could say she had grown a little bitter. She trudged along slowly, letting the cold of the deep snow torture her skinny dark legs. She clenched her teeth into a dark smile, trying to hide the pain of the cold. Her long black mane and tail dripping with crystalline ice droplets, making it glitter and make light clinking sounds as it was tousled by the night breeze. She was not much a fan of this cold here out in the open. The field tonight was what Talzanna imagined the Tundra to feel like, and she didn't like it.

She wondered what there was to offer her here, she also wondered how she could get what could be offered. Should she stand still and quiet in the shadows of the trees lining the outsides of the field, or make like a damsel in distress and flaunt herself around, throwing her newly formed hips this way and that. That could attract something right? She snorted, somewhat amused with what her mind was cooking up. After many dumb ideas she decided on mixing the first two options...she was young, fresh blood to some. Why not make herself a little more appealing right? Though she had zero experience with doing so and would probably end up looking like a fool flailing about among the trees. Pushing her anxieties about her decision aside, she positioned herself beneath a bunch of slumping dark snow frosted pines. Cocking one long dark leg up in what she imagined to be a provocative way. Letting out a low whinny, she stepped forward, bouncing a bit, letting the frost bitten world know she was somewhat ready for what this sick sad world had to offer. She had no idea of the kind of creatures she would attract on this dark frozen night. Though if anything she sees herself as the creature to be wary about.
