    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

She was a bold mare, perhaps more bold than a queen should be. Then again, she was always a wild child, and it aided her in getting her crown. She does not hesitate at expressing her interest, she wasn't one to let an opportunity pass her.

She introduces herself first, a formality she does not generally partake in. She inquires his name and home to which he responds with Raul, envoy of the Silver Cove. A grin tugs at her lips as his words pass through her ears, The cove? Initial home to Valdis...interesting. She nearly whispers her last word, it seemed the family of Valdis was closing in on Sylva..Castile ruling Loess, the Cove members consistently visiting...

She stays aware of her surroundings and tucks away his information to her memory. He moves his head to gaze at the red band that appeared on her throat, matching his own. A gentle huff of a laugh escapes her maw as he gawks at her magic. A few moments pass and he finds his place once again before her, this time he seemed to have sparked a thought and he asks how he may be of service to her.

It was certainly an interesting question, one she does not generally receive from a visiting envoy. With a smile she slowly finds herself walking a circle around the colorful stag. Be of service? Are you trying to find a home in Sylva? I certainly take pride in collecting the little Covlings. Her grin is now full blown ear to ear, she stops walking at his side and her gaze finds his, gently flicking her tail on his hind end. She was cueious of his loyalty, his intentions for his visit today, and this conversation would certainly test the boundaries.
