    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Life had a funny way of bringing people in and out. Each one teaches a new lesson, and Clayton had surely learned a lot in his short life. Most importantly his love life sucked no matter how hard he tried to have one. Mares was just one thing he would never understand.

As usualy he finds himself traveling through the Cove, the peace and quiet helps him to clear his thoughts. Though he did not find himself alone for long, the sound of another approaching rang through his ears and soon after a familiar scent

Velk , he thinks to himself and a smile tugs at his lips. His neck that wore a scar from the first time they met subconsciously twitches as the memories flood his mind. The blue draped stag comes into view and gives a greeting, it felt good to be around someone who was not a mare. Perhaps friendship with other stags is what was missing in his life.

Hey Velk! I have been well, busy really! How about you? How has the Cove been treating you? The last time the pair saw each other was the beginning of the plague. Velk offered his powers to hesl those in need, he left to find Warlight, and never saw him again. He wonders if the stag is still healing, was he healing Warlight like she said he was? Questions he had, but would save for another day.
