Living on the island usually has its perks, especially on the Resort. It was quieter and more peaceful here. At least Divest had never seen a lot of visitors come all at once. Her mother had told her many of the other lands had lots of others living in them. She supposes she is lucky to have a place more all to herself than trying to share it with hundreds of others. At the very least she is considered a queen here to an older filly named Vita she met—she hopes Vita won’t be spreading that around, Ruinam wouldn’t like that at all! Divest finds herself on the outer parts of the Resort today. Most of the time she likes being on the inner island that is surrounded by the outer island. It was much smaller, but it wasn’t as tiresome to get across like it was to reach where she is now. However, Divest liked coming over here occasionally to see the strange structures. She never could figure out where they came from and it seemed neither anyone could either. It seemed like no better thing to do today than to see the strange structures that dotted across the Resort. Divest moves at a quick gallop, as quick as her long limbs can carry her at least. It was a bit harder in the sand, but she learned ways to get around it eventually. Nearing one of her favorite structures to look at, a loud echo reaches her ears. Divest stops in her tracks with the structure just in view. Her diamond-like eyes quickly spot the black fire opal boy. Curiously, her head tilts wondering who the stranger was. Divest doesn’t waste any time to approach the boy though. She also couldn’t wait to make sure he knew this was her island and she IS the queen here! “Hey there!” She greets warmly to the boy. Her silver eyes look over him for a moment longer, admiring the color of his coat. It was even better up close, but it definitely wasn’t as pretty as hers. “What are you doing here!?” Her question is a little less friendly than her previous tone. |
