The one who finally approaches seems rather ordinary, but Astri isn’t so easily deceived. She rouses from her stasis and looks him over, hard, before flicking both of her ears forward and offering her nose to the stranger. He seemed almost as hesitant as her, so she gives over to intuition and trusts that she won’t come to any immediate harm. There’s an elongated scar in place of one eye and she wonders how he could’ve come across such an accident, though she keeps these thoughts to herself.
“The name’s Astri,” She begins, “And you are?” The words come off as brittle as the winter air, but she means them with the best intentions. Being away from company for so long has left her a little … rough around the edges. She’s optimistic though, wondering how he’ll counter and if he’ll actually have anything to say. The harder she stares the more she finds interesting about him. His curved ears are one thing, the scar another, and his painfully curious stare all mix to form a rather interesting character.
She just hopes he won’t be too dull to hold a stimulating conversation.
