His answer impresses her, those golden eyes widening just a little - though there’s no white to show when she does this, just slightly different shades of the same rich gold that coats her everywhere. She doesn’t hide her awe, she has no reason to think about hiding anything from Reave. He gets all her genuine reactions. “You’ve accomplished so much.” She feels a little embarassed about the fact that Reave had claimed an entire land around the same time she had just started to emerge from the forest and wonder if there was more to life.
But he didn’t seem to mind the fact that she had not done much, or that everything was still new and shiny to her, so Israfel tries not to mind either.
Her eyes move around the landscape, eager to take it in - to learn her new home, though they are drawn back to her bone-armoured just as frequently and she feels a flutter in the pit of her stomach when she catches his eyes moving over her skin and the smirk that accompanies it.
“What’s that look for?” Maybe this question would be teasing in someone else’s voice but Israfel's voice is still as soft as it always is. She certainly does not mind that look one bit, though, as shown by the bright grin that grows.
