    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

HE'S SO TALL, HANDSOME AS HELL
HE'S SO BAD, BUT HE DOES IT SO WELL

    Oh she shouldn’t have.

Kirin can not help but be drawn to those that are unique, to those that posses the quirks and magics that filter through bloodlines. She winks out of sight, his game already up, his anger flared at such power because she is a ruiner of fun. Not at all for long though, it is as brief as her stint on this earth and he smiles tidings of play not at all lost.

His fine head tilts, more avian than horse in his mannerisms, musing on her words, her question. From his treetop roost he flutters downward, pinching the earth beneath him, wings spread wide like a parachute. “Who am I”? he breathes, sending tendrils of smoke and perfume to his words. Some would envy Kirin’s charm but those who knew better would turn away from it.

Ah but we like the bad boys don’t we, deep down? The ones that make us feel dirty and used and magnificent all at once. Like we are the only star in their universe, the only woman to ever feel their embrace and the tantalizing perfection that it is. The ones that make you give in, give them what they want and even when they leave you wish them back. If they ever asked again you would oblige because your mouth waters at the thought of that ecstasy once more.

“You should know me, even an ugly thing such as yourself. I am Kirin” Awfully proud of his name, as though it means something and to some it already means everything. The Cove had steadily gained momentum in the world beneath his leadership, now they sat in a heady position for a herd, allied with both their Mother Kingdom as well as the Chamber.

“What do they call you little mess, hmmm?” He can’t help that her colors clash in such a way that he finds distracting and muddied, no matter how brightly the tones shone. They were too much in either direction, nothing like the neutral way Capture’s silver blended to emerald.
