    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Raxa vs. Jedi
    #7
This battle was definitely testing her limits. Along with that, it was taxing to her body. Raxa knew she had to end this soon, or step back and let the stallion make the next move, let him tire himself out.

Jedi's hind legs swung out and landed a blow to her hip, causing the mare to whinny in pain. That blow had been powerful, which surprised her. She thought she'd done some good damage to his hind legs, but clearly he still had some steam left.

She also grew angry when her attack on his hindquarters failed, the result being a mouthful of tail hair. Growing frustrated, the mare took a breath. Her chest was still hurting, and her other wounds, while not severe, still stung. If anything, it was the blow to her chest that hurt the most. She was growing tired, and fast.

Stepping back, Raxa's tail flicked back and forth, her eyes on the stallion, willing to let him make the next move. She kept her stance ready, in case Jedi decided to charge again.
