Her shadow had grown long and thin in the setting sun, much like her own form while the golden girl lived in the Tundra. She had seen a months time pass. The hours ticked away like grains in a hourglass as she frolicked and danced under the watchful eyes of her loving mother and father. The girl child was sprouting beautifully. The spindly legs finally slowing so the torso may fill, the neck becoming slender and her features refining. The platinum shock of hair growing out and silky but the joy and innocence of days passed still echoed in the pale blue depths of her eyes.
The year and an half-ling moves through the stubby sprouts of grass. She watches, day dreaming, as she moves absentmindedly. Her brothers and sister had to be around somewhere. A soft call follows the wonderment that she had conjured...the tones having matured to the softest soprano. Lobes flicker and she pauses to listen for a response. Perhaps even another could meet her voice, perhaps a face she has yet to meet. The thin form slender mare-child moves again with the encouragement of the chilled breeze towards where she would expect to find other equines.
