    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Ethaethe let out a small groan, but her body let out a larger one. She laid there for a moment, wondering what just happened. Slowly, her vision focused from it's haze of death. She slowly got up, her whole body acheing. She felt worse now than when she was dead. Slowly, her memories came back, and she turned to see the rotten corpses of her two lost children, both stillborns.

Her heart ached at the thought, then she dug in the soft sand and burried them. Ethaethe regreted not naming them, not coming up with more name ideas. She wanted to cry, but her ducts were dry from being dead for so long. How long had it been, a year? Two, maybe? She shrugged. Surely it was enough for the world to change without her. She looked to the now rising sun. What had happened to her son, the one she named Rebelious?

When Ethaethe looked inland, she realized she had died in summer. It was winter. The trees were frozen over, snow lay on the ground. So now, ontop of being stiff as a corpse (which, she previously had been), she was as frozen as her heart. She wished she were dead again, wished she could find out who did this and, and -- her thoughts stopped. What would she do? She could torment more alive than dead! She could wreak havock on others that didn't like her, weren't her puppets! Oh, was she ever joyful now. She jumped and played and rolled in the snow among the others that were dead.

Then she realized this wasn't her home. She needed to do a suprise visit, or two..

(ooc: I hoped you liked it! Feel free to respond to her actions, I dont care.)
