HTML Troubles

So sorry, I'm absolutely hopeless with technology. I found a really great layout and compressed it to remove spaces. After I customized it I checked it through an HTML tester and everything was working beautifully. But when I try to post the layout here, the side image is missing. I've tried removing spaces and a few different code types but nothing works. The image is also missing in the original unedited (minus compression) code. Is there a fix for this??
