    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Jinju
    Home.

Taiga. Yes, Taiga was home now. But more importantly home was Reagan and Ruan. Home was family, hér family. And they lived in the Taiga, which made the little pine tree forest her home too. She had lived there for a little over than a year. When Reagan had found her she had only been a couple of months old and by the time she hadn’t returned back home with Ruan she had been a little over one and a half year old.

Home. Did she want to go back home?

Most of her memories of the place were good and Jinju had to fight a little smile that tugged on the corners of her lips. However, she also had to admit that not all were good. She had first learned about jealousy there, had learned how destructive then envying feeling could be. Was this what the fairies had punished them for? She remembered one time when Ruan had said that he was selfish, for always wanting his family near and what more. But wasn’t that a good thing? Yet the black woman – or almost woman – had to admit that most memories were good, and something to return back to.

Home. Did she want to go back home? Yes, she definitely wanted to.

But, she had to admit that she was afraid too. She had disappeared for months, just after she had received back her powers, after the fight with Ruan. She had left her injured father to return back home alone and thus her mother also knew about what happened. Even if he hadn’t told her, Reagan would just be able to figure out in her own ways. Not that Jinju could blame the little gray mare for that. Yes, she would now have to admit that her adoptive mother wasn’t that tall, as she herself rivalled Ruan’s height now. What a couple of months could do. But back to the issue at hand. Even though Reagen wasn’t that big in size, she would have to admit that she feared her mother more than her father.

She had licked her wounds in solitude, not going back to the pack she knew would be waiting for her. Perhaps not the right thing to do, but Jinju had desired the moment of silence, to reflect. And she had grown, not only in size, but also within the limits of her abilities. Sure she wasn’t there yet and she probably would never match Reagan in strength as she only had one life time to master her powers, but who would be a better teacher than her own mother? But that wasn’t why Jinju’s feet had carried her back home. She had missed them and wanted to be part of the one thing she would cherish forever again. A family.

Home. She was finally back home.

OOC: Preferbly no more than 2, max 3 others. And maybe give Ruan or Reagan chance to be part of those?
A bit crappy, haven't properly written for over a month. <3
