    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Alivia
got a chick i call her lola, she feel like the ocean
The blue mare moves between the tall tress with ever watching blue eyes. The length of her mane tangles wildly in the chilled air of early spring as she cares not for the beautification of herself. The star spotted neck is tight and curled as she steps in long strides to cover ground so she may meet with the rulers, her godmother Reagan. Liv had been a naughty girl and not been as lively as she thinks they have hoped. Instead she spent her days walking the forest and traveling to the other lands.

The indigo woman moves within her home now, watching as she passes new faces, her eyes scrutinizing callously but Liv was a guarded soul, observing opposed talking. Here and there are a few splinters of fresh grass and moss that she plucked at with tapered lips. Liv does does not bother to talk with he first horses that she see nor the second. Instead she waits and watches for a familiar face.

dreamer, every time you stargaze the whole world is lying at your feet

She had never heard her daddy sound so…well…upset before, and that made her feel unsettled and weird. After all, her daddy was her guardian, her protector – invincible. He remembers how he had taken the meeting with the angry horse and the King in stride as if it were nothing. But this was different.

So, as bid, she had ran away (literally), in search of her sister, who she had also seen at the meeting – a pretty indigo girl, with spots like daddy’s on her neck, though hers were a good deal more pretty.

In her hasty retreat from her father she runs straight into Alivia – literally, straight into, and she bounces off with a soft thud, landing on her butt awkwardly, long foal legs everywhere.

”Livvy! I’m sorry!” she cries, righting herself with some difficulty, although she manages it eventually. She reaches down to lip at the small cut she’s managed to earn on her right knee, which is slowly trickling bright red blood, before looking up at her sister, her own blood on her lips.

But the incident is almost entirely forgotten immediately, as Ana snuggles herself into Liv’s side (not particularly caring that they had never been introduced properly – she was family, and that was good enough for the metal and cream filly). ”Alivia.” she begins, questioningly, gently nuzzling her big sister’s legs. ”Daddies…and mummies… are strong, aren’t they?” She was still alarmed by her daddy’s weird words and speaking, and didn’t really know how to explain it, nor explain the weird feeling of unease it had settled deep into her belly.
