    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Elemental Invincibility vs. Magic Immunity
    #1
Elemental Invincibility - Immune to effects of an elemental nature, including fire, electricity, water, etc

Magic Immunity - Immune to all effects of magic.

So, a lot of the magic that is flying around recently is elemental.  I was just hoping to clarify a few things.

For starters, with magic immunity, would Tang be immune to a blast of magical fire? Or only “magic” as in if a 4-space pony attacked her? Would it block mind reading, is mind reading magic?  Obviously wouldn’t help her if that fire from the attack caught onto the grasses and then burned her… but would it protect her from a magical blast of water/fire/lightning/ect?

As for the Elemental Invincibility, how far does that go? She would be immune to all elements magically sourced or not, but if Maugirim (for example) held her under water would she still suffocate? Does that mean she can spend time underwater, or floating down a lava stream if she wanted to?

Not saying any of this would happen, just curious Smile

Elemental Invincibility would be only for magical elemental attacks. So she could/would still drown, get wet, get burnt by a natural wildfire, etc. She would just be immune to any magical attacks from i.e. a water manipulator or fire manipulator.

Magic immunity would be any magical trait, so fire blast, mind-reading, full magic, etc.
