The colts tail swung around a bit as his legs continued to get used to the weight of his body and the rocking that was caused by his breathing. The mare next to him nuzzled him after a short snort. Indeed, his head had worked out that his species was horse and that the one next to him was mare or mother type. His ears twitched as she spoke to him in a low tone asking for his name.
A name is a hard thing for someone new to the world to grasp. He was unsure if he had been given one by those voices he had heard or if they had just left him without one. He wiggled his ears and then shook his whole little frame. His eyes watched as the mare moved her lips and he mimicked the action. “ Name..” His voice was soft and squeaky. The colt shifted on his feet and it was then that he took notice of the mares wings. His ears pricked forward alert that she did not look at all like the other horses in this place.
