Ardashir would look to the dun colored mare as she repeated his name. He would shift on his wobbly legs a couple more times before the wobbles stopped and he stood with some rigidity. He took in her color learning its tone and he nosed her once or twice as he learned her scent. His left ear focused on her as he nosed and imprinted to her. He pulled his muzzle back from her flank as she spoke to him confirming that she was his mother.
So, his earlier thought had been true she had just gone for a short walk after his arrival but returned to collect him.
He tilted his head to the side some and asked her, “Name?” His fuzzy tail swung around as he gathered some spunk before his stomach growled and he looked to his mother.
The world to this newborn was one of truth's so far. He could not have known of lies and even if he had to him being left was normal in life. Innocence was on his side for now.
