    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

[mature]  Bacchanalia [EVERY & ALL - PARTY TIME]
    #11
The freckled mare tails the Queen in feline quiet – muffled, careful steps, the sight of Nayl few and far but the monarch’s scent of salt and stone hangs strong where she brushes the bare brush. When Sylva’s border is broken through by footfall, the quiet wraps them both, but the Queen penetrates deeper passed the lines and City seeks height rather than depth. Nimbly the pale mare picks her way across a cliff, the rocky bones of the steppe’s break and tumble down as she ascends to a secluded looking spot.

It’s not hard to predict what might unfold once Offspring and Tantalize break through the roiling smog. City’s lip curls at the sight of them, but relief cools her blood – Tantalize had clearly not been on a peaceful holiday. The rumors were indeed true. She finds no sympathy in the space where her heart should beat, but a sigh of reprieve for Nerine prickles across her mind.

The monster of magic woven with jagged granite and behemoth roots sweeps passed her so closely that her long creamy mane tugs in its windy wake. Beqanna’s crust rumbles and groans and cracks – the earthly beast gains strength and hacks at Gryffen’s corridors of torture without mercy. City is almost delighted at the butchery. She looks upon the violent event like she’s watching a few crows pull the last pieces of sinew from a caribou’s bleached bones. When the piebald matriarch retreats from the destruction so does City, slinking back toward Nerine by a different, winding path as to not come across anyone in her travels.

(late and irrelevant, but she needs to have witnessed it.)
<3 if no one sees her that's totally fine.
