Their meeting in the meadow had been brief. Accompanied by too many prying eyes. Though he hadn't been shy of his interest in her, he may have gone a bit farther if they had been alone. So he had offered to show her around and she had accepted. The allure of the island too much to pass up.
Taking to the air he led the way. Each stroke of his lavender wings bringing them farther from the mainland. It wasn't extremely far and the island grows in expanse as they near. They fly much lower than he was used to. The spray of sea coating his limbs that dangled not far from it's surface. It gave him a sheen to his pelt. Silver-hazel eyes find her pearled hue not far from him. He smirks at her before turning his sights to the granulated shores.
The beach comes up quick and his limbs reach to meet them. Galloping along as his wings rest and begin to fold at his sides. Once fully grounded and momentum slowed he looks back. Slowing to turn and halt. She too has landed and joined him. Their eyes look to the jungle before he turns to look down the length of the beach. "It's beautiful no?"
His sights had just been cast to the shores when the light catches something within the sands. It almost glows a sea-green shade of aqua. Lavender profile tilts curiously. He had never seen such a thing. Lengthy limbs bring him to better view the object. Now seeing it's shape that was familiar but the clarity of it still perplexed him. Lowering his crown his muzzle runs across it. Finding it's texture to be smooth. He calls to Sabra, "Look at this thing. It looks like a jewel of some sort." He waits for her to join and give her opinion on what it was. Maybe it was powerful. A gift from the fairies perhaps. Ripe for the taking...
