    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

[mature]  Like an unwanted stranger - Klaudius
    #1
She had left, in flurry of white feathers and bitchy attitude. While it hadn't accomplished what she wanted it to, it had still been a fun encounter. The infant queen would be chewing that over for a while, she knew. Krone had risen to the bait easier than she could have guessed, revealing too much of herself at once. The girl would have to learn quickly, if she wanted to be taken seriously.

Released back into the welcoming arms of the sky, she ascended until the air grew thin. All of Beqanna sprawled beneath her, stretched out on a plane of crystal that reflected back the heavens. Wisps of cloud gathered in the high reaches of the sky. She skimmed them lightly, weaving between their icy fingers like a skilled dancer. Every part of her lithe body worked in harmony, carrying her through the air as easily as the wind flew in and out of her lungs. It was heaven. It was wonderful. It was what she had been born to do.

To soon, it had to end. She had started something, something big. She would see it through to the end. One more great thrust of her beloved wings, and she pulled them in close to her sides. Nose and forelegs stretched towards the waiting earth, she fell like a great white comet. The azure pools of her eyes watered in the winds force. When she could tell the cliffs from the trees of Ischia, she sent herself into a steady spiral, gradually unfurling her wings. If she snapped them out at this speed, they would be torn from her shoulders. And then she would become nothing more than a crimson splash on the shore. But no, she was careful. Her speed slowed until she was traipsing along the treetops, when her wings ballooned out to catch her. Light as any bird, she came to a stop, back on the cliffs she so adored.

Her breathing was heavy as she recovered from the brief but intense flight. Sweat glossed the planes of her chest and shoulders. The sun was beginning to hang low in the sky, the first tints of sunset bleeding across the underbellies of the clouds she had so recently roamed. Soon the sky would gild her as well, turning her creamy hide gold and scarlet. This was the woman's favorite time. When night began to swallow day, anything seemed possible in that golden glow.

The breeze began to pick up, illuminating the thickening clouds along the horizon. Perhaps there would be a storm. A storm would be good. It would cleanse the world. But it would also get her wings wet. And that wasn't nearly as agreeable. She cast her gaze around the trees that were silhouetted behind her. Waving palms and fruit trees, perhaps not the safest place to shelter from the weather. A recollection from the back of her mind resurfaced. Flying towards the island and seeing fissures in the cliffside, terraces, and... caves. A smile spread across her face. It wasn't a perfect solution, not quite. But it would do for tonight, and maybe for other things. She spared a thought to the man who'd brought her here.

A loose feather was plucked from her shoulder, and gently secured beneath a stone at the edge of the cliff. A tip as to where to look for her. Looking around one last time, she dove from the rocks like a seal into the sea. Halfway to the water, she slighted alighted on a sliver of ledge, and wiggled her way into a narrow cleft in the wall. It closed on her, narrowing until she could go no further. Back out, try another one. The next ledge brought her to a more promising opening. Not much taller than her, but wide enough to accommodate someone of greater statue.

Yes! It opened into a cozy round room in just a few paces. A natural air pocket leftover from the islands birth. It was big enough for her to take ten steps from one wall to another, and a sliver of sunset filtered down from a crack in the front wall. It was dark and colder than she liked, but it was empty of previous inhabitants and dry shelter from the rather irritating outside world. A far cry from the home she'd one day have, it was a start nonetheless. A moment spent placing one more precious feather at the entrance of her hide, and she retreated back inside to doze. It had been a long day.

After departing from the kingdoms get together, they had parted ways.  He had some ideas rattling about in his handsome head.  Some plans to further his clutches on the island that was once his father's.  His little sister could keep her crown.  He'd be sure it remained delicately placed between her chocolate ears.  Any threats to that and he'd see to it they be removed.  When his thoughts had been presented and executed he returned to the skies once again.  A new need came to mind...

He ridded his body of any forms he had taken on during his talk with Krone.  The extra weight of earthly metals was not easy in flight so he shedded the majority.  Retaining a decorative mask of silver over his lavender face.  It was delicately designed to span across the width between his silver-hazel eyes.  Stretching midway down the length of the bridge of his nose.  The metal sheened even in the weakening daylight as the sun began to creep towards the horizon.  Each thrust of his wings bringing his farther across the expanse of the island.  The cream mare had headed off in this direction so he figured he'd find at least her scent lingering in the humid air...

She had been as captivated by the cliffs as he had so it made sense to try there first.  Banking left on the air currents, he circled towards the very edge of the jagged rocks.  Turbulent waves below crashed into their unwavering position.  Tossing a spray of sea water into the atmosphere.  Manuvering above the reach of the droplets as to not hinder his flight abilities.  They may still be needed.

His hooves clipped along the rocky terrain as he landed.  Lavender wings folding at his side once he gain balance.  He stopped movement as his eyes surveyed the area.  Nares flaring to inhale any scents of those near.  Lavender crown swivels left, then right.  She had been here not long ago.  He turns from the inner sights of jungle to look out across the sea.  She would not have gone into the confines of the forests.  That would be uncharacteristic of such a free spirit.  As he turns and steps towards the edge, a simmer of white draws his gaze downward.  There was a granite stone that held a cream feather in place.  A grin stretches across his lips.

Muzzle lowered to the rocky plain, he brings himself towards the rock.  Lavender ears twist forwards as his lips run along the wispy edges of the puzzle piece.  He tastes her sweat on the edge of his pale lips.  Raising his head along with the upper half of his muzzle.  The pheromones intoxicating.  With a snort and a possessive shallow whinny he shakes his head.  Following her trail now to the cliffs end.  Silver eyes look down as his maw is brought to his chest.  A toss of lavender tassels is given as his wings reach out again.  Limbs gathering under him to launch him off the cliff...

This time he doesn't fly high nor far.  With enough distance between him and the climbing rocks he examines the balconies of granite protruding from the side of the formation.  Some much too small for a horse of any size to land comfortably.  Only a few were large enough but where to start...

He had decided to try one, but then a glint of light reflected off something on another ledge.  Drawing his attention once again and forcing his hand to go see what it was.  He liked shiny things after all.  With a faster beat of wing he hovered to land on the ledge.  Hooves scraping to gain traction on the slick surface.  Once footing was secured his eyes turned to find another cream feather at the opening of a cavern.  A slight chuckle escaped him as he folded his feathers tight to his sides and entered the hole in the cliff.

His hooves softly echoed off the walls of the cavern announcing his coming.  Slowly his eyes accustomed to the dim lighting but finding her was not hard.  The scent alone was enough but the illuminating hue of her flesh made her location known.  "Clever girl," purred from soft vocals. His lavender muzzle reaching for a place along her neck in greeting.  "I've missed you Sabra," the edge of his lips trailing down the length of her neck to her breast.  Capturing her sapphire eyes through the mask of silver still wrapped around his crown.

The clatter of hooves on stone brings the cream lady back to alertness. There are few on this island who hold the ability to reach this secret space, but she is very aware that Krone is one of them. Unfortunate, but an issue that would be addressed at another time.  Her eyes have adjusted to the dimness, and so the twilight form of her erstwhile companion comes into view without trouble. A wicker of greeting slips from her throat, soft as a dove cooing.

The scent of his exertion whirled towards her, masculine aroma piquing her interest. He stood at the cave's entrance but a moment, long enough for her to note the delicate filigree adorning his face, before his momentum brought him close. There was a hunger in his eyes that she could not help but appreciate. It had been there from that first encounter. She did not fool herself; she had seen enough of him to know that his love was freely and openly given, to whomever took his fancy at the moment. For now though, the heat radiating from his muscular form was distracting. She smiled up into his glittering visage, an eyebrow quirked in amusement. "Clever enough, I'd say. Pretty baubles." She noted, indicating his mask. It suited him in more ways than one.

His caress of greeting went from sweet to roguish as his velvet lips worked their way along her artfully sculpted neck, while he murmured his sweet nothings. His regal face pressed into her delicate breast, breathe hot against the tender flesh there, making her shiver in anticipation. She brought her dainty muzzle to his crest, burying her nose in the silken mass of his mane to nibble at the hard muscle underneath. A soft kiss was quickly followed by a sharper nip, just shy of bruising. He was beautiful and charming, but she was not quite happy with him.

"I'll have your name before I let you have me." She whispered into his ear, taking a step back from the promise of his embrace. This was a man full of secrets and subterfuge, and she trusted him not a bit. She didn't need to trust him to enjoy him. But his name she required.

The woman's crystal gaze caught his momentarily, haughty and guarded, swearing nothing to him. Her next motion brought her chest to his, only to glance against him, to slip against his flank. Her face now rested against his wing, cradled between feathers and flank. Downy rump was now tucked strategically beneath his lavender face, the strands of her tail whisking upwards to lash gently against his nose. She wanted him, there was no denying that. If he wanted her half as much as he acted, he would earn it.

I'll have your name before I let you have me...

An amused chuckle rises softly at her retort.  Short bursts of air released against her light coat as lips slid along the length of her nape.  Creamy locks brushing against his lavender nose.  A sharp nip to his neck and then she is moving from him.  Twisting around him in a seductive dance.  His hooves remain unmoving as he allows her her game.  Smirk upon his lips and silver eyes following her movements behind a shield of platinum.  "A name is all I must give to have you huh? Hmmm... What if I skip the name and just take what I want?" He muses as she begins to slip under his chin.  He doesn't raise his maw but presses it down upon her spine firmly.  Tasting her flesh as his lips drag across it. Until she has slipped from his grasp again.  A wisp of tassels to his face and curvature of her rump coming to end.

With a shake of his elegant face, a snort emits from his nares.  Lavender wings extending slightly from his sides to create a much narrower path for her to escape this time.  With a soft strike of his forelimb hoof against the stone flooring, he inches closer to where she now stands.  If she were to dance about now he'd extend his wing to block her.  Anticipating she'd stand to accept his advancement though, he doesn't hesitate to approach her again.  He wanted her, she him.  The game could only last so long before one gave in to the other... Before she gave in.

He comes to her, facing her dead on.  Giving her only an option to move backwards against the cavern wall if she rejected him.  Silver eyes studying the expression on her angelic features as he neared.  A smirk at his lips but determination in his eyes.  Lavender face meeting hers, a seductive warning escapes, "You will be mine Sabra.  Name or no name..." Rising his head slightly.  He may still give his title just to satisfy her.  Give her something to scream in the moments during ecstasy. "But..." he continues, "If you must have it I'm Klaudius."

With the release of his true identity he takes what is his.  Pressing his shoulder against her as he makes his way down her side.  Content on dragging his lips along her spine again.  This time much softer.  Their wings brush together mixing hues of their bodies.  Reaching the slight dip from backbone to rump he swings his hindquarters away from her.  Muzzle resting at that same spot with a firm press.  Holding her in place as he repositioned his body behind hers.  The usual tight confines of his feathered appendages loosen to sway to retain balance.

Placing a few soft kisses at her hips as his gaze looks to her for approval.  It wasn't necessary to have but desired.  He waits to see the want in her eyes.  The subtle shift of her hips accepting his next move...

He exuded danger and lust in equal measures. She is driving him mad, she can tell. Her scent is stronger now, sweet and heavy, her body tuning itself to his every shift and caress. She shivers again at his words, his not quite threat plain. The lavender man was taller than her by a good amount, muscled and strong from his years soaring above ground. Blunt teeth drag along her spine as she curves along his form, claiming as any scar or collar could be. She hoped he lived up to expectations.

Encircled by the great sails of his wings, she stands before him, waiting for his next move, breath getting quicker as the tension wound tighter. And then he is looking at her again, silvered eyes catching the last of the day's light. The room is bathed in crimson warmth, dowsing both pale creatures with a wash of blush. His words are full of confidence and certainty, and they bring a smile to Sabra's curving lips. Ego was a funny thing, especially where men were involved. "Klaudius..." She repeated throatily. Her lilting voice played with the word, drawing it out. This, at last, sounded true.

Satisfied, she allowed him to work his way down her sculpted body, exploring it like work of art. It was only natural. At last he brushed against a sensitive point on her back, the dimple of her rump becoming the point from which he pivots. Her wings are shifted wide now, hanging from her sides like satin petticoats, making room for her lover's embrace. Head twisted around to take in the view. A beautiful man with his face against her, hunger burning in his eyes. Hunger for her. A similar hunger began to burn within her own belly, making her lean back into his chest with a sigh. The creamy banner of her tail pressed to the side, welcoming him to her most vulnerable points.

"Go on then. Take what you call yours. Take me Klaudius." The pastel mare murmured in encouragement, pressed tight against him. Her hips swayed in anticipation. She wanted to see his hunger released.

The sound of his name cooed from her pale lips is as intoxicating as her scent consuming the cave.  He can hear it echo softly as he now has come to rest behind her.  Gently kisses placed at her hips.  Waiting for her acceptance...

Take me Klaudius.  She purrs.  He grins hungrily.

With the subtle rocking back of her hindquarters and displacement of her cream tail he knows he is needed.  This interaction would not be like the one with his sister.  There would be no armor plates.  No forceful hold.  It would be a mutual exchange of passions of the flesh.  There was no need to rush, so he lingers.  His upper lip brushing a swirl on the up curve of her hip from spine.  Soon to drag almost untouching down the slope of her rump.  Just brushing past where her tail would normally rest.  Continuing down her inner thigh to her hock.  There he stops movement of his lips to place kisses along the inside portion of her left hind-limb.  He wants to feel her tremor with want.  Getting weak at the knees with each placement of another kiss.  His eyes slide from his work to the recipient of it.  To gauge the pleasure that is being had...

Satisfied he starts to move back up her leg.  This time with his tongue pressed against the tender skin of her thighs.  Dragging it along to taste the anxious sweat seeping from her pores.  Soon he is rounding up her buttocks.  Ending with kisses just aside her vulnerable parts.  With a deep breath he draws in her scent.  Everything was perfect.  She was perfect.

With a structural arch of his muscular neck his chest leans into her rump. Wings outstretched slightly for balance.  Forelimbs pushing him upwards to slide atop her.  They curl to seat perfectly around her waist.  Hindlimbs pushing his body evermore closer to hers.  The parting of her thighs guiding him.  Hard with a need to sate, he enters her.  With each strategic thrust bringing him deeper inside her.  Her slight leaning against him creates an easy rocking motion as he buries himself within her warm embrace.  The friction created against their tender flesh ignited sensations one does not get outside of this interaction.  When two bodies become one.

His grip tightens along her hips as ectasy is not far.  Short puffs of air escape his nares with each thrust until a final one causes him to reach for a cream tendril of her mane with his teeth.  Using the lock of hair to pull him harder into her.  A grunt escapes his lips as his bloodline passes into her.  Releasing his grip on her mane as his hips cease motion.  His body foaming with perspiration.  For a moment he rests atop her.  Catching his breath before sliding himself out of her as he pushed himself backwards.  His chin coming to stay on top her rump.  Placing several gentle kisses along her sensitive flesh...

There are times when words fall short. Her crooning acceptance of her lover's touch was all the encouragement he needed, persuading him to trace lines of fire along her hips. Wet heat ignited at her core, nerves buzzing with heightened pleasure as his lips made their leisurely way along the curves of her body. A sigh of desire escapes as he spends a moment tasting her innermost thigh. So close, so close to the point of her that wants him most.
"Fucking tease..." she gasps, breathing short and shallow in response to the kisses feathering on delicate skin. A sound somewhere between growl and whimper emits from her pale throat when he pauses. Swans neck bends to the side, her eyes burning with blue fire as her gaze meets his. "Keep going" she pants, longing for more. His teasing tastes have only fueled the lust now burning between her legs. She wants him, all of him. The hard evidence of his own desire taunts her.

Eyes shut tight as he returns to his gentle assault, trading kisses for languid strokes of his tongue. Drawing sensual pictures along the cream of her butt and thighs, giving attention everywhere except where she wants it. Impatient, she leans into his silver- dripping face, hungry for deeper satisfaction. As if sensing that, she feels the shift from play to true pleasure. A final hot breath at her slick cleft, and he surges above her. Klaudius. He fills the room with his plumage as he settles into place, gentler than she expected. He is tucked in close to her trim body, curled against her figure possessivly, fitting into her curves with undeniable perfection.

He is large against her entrance, insistent. Rocking her hips accommodatingly, she cannot help but give a little cry when he glides within her. She is filled, and yet he has more to give. Muzzle buried against the curve of her neck, he thrusts into her, again and again, each new motion drawing cries of pleasure from her lips. A more intense fire has begun to kindle, pulsing in time with his rhythmic movements and her own hips rolling in countermotion. "Oh... ohhh.... Oh my gods, Klaudius, oh my....AHHH!" Her words cut off in a fevered squeal as the fire within combusted. The waves of ecstasy rolling through her are drawn out as the skilled man continued for a moment more, rhythm slipping from masterfully precise into something more erratic as his own climax claimed him. The sudden shock of pain as he anchored himself with a lock of silken mane only teased her to higher bliss as he spent himself within her.

They shuddered together for a moment, the scent of sweat and sex now hanging heavy in the air of their little cave. The sudden emptiness as he slips out and off is startling. But then he is back, laying tender kisses on her sweat sheened rump. A small moan vibrates through her, skin still humming with the friction that had just run through it. There is a dampness between her legs, and vaguely, she knows it's his. Just as vaguely, she wonders if his child would take root within her. If she would want it to. She turns to rest more easily against his beautiful side, feathers intermingling in lovely ways.

Sleepily, her lips work their way along his crest, massaging the ropes of muscle that lay beneath his perfect skin. Something catches her attention from the corner of her eye. Sleepiness drains away as she focuses on this new development. "What's that, caught in your wing?" She asks, in a tone that tells him already knows. One of these things is not like the other. An emerald plume is snagged amongst it's lavender siblings.

He had remained showering the dove mare in gentle kisses.  Her ivory feathers pressing against his lavender tones.  The mares lips begin to trace along the lines of muscles etched within his skin.  He allows her own offering of affection to dance along his flesh.  A gentle toss of his lavender cords his only movement.

Her eyes are then drawn to his side.  An emerald gem of his previous endeavor caught in the amethyst confines of his wings.  Silver eyes follow in the direction of her glance to catch the purpose for her question.  Craning his neck as his wing shifts from his side.  Reaching his maw to pluck the evidence from his side.  Releasing his grip to watch it fall gently to the rocky floor.  "I had a run in with my sister... She is not to happy with our presence here," he explains with a matter of fact tone.  "I tried reasoning with her but she wasn't in the mood to listen.  Things got...physical," he wasn't lying, just not going into details.  He wouldn't be able to conceal his transgressions for long but why ruin the moment...

His lavender face turns back to stroke her cheek.  Silver eyes peering through his decorative mask.  Searching the depths of her brilliant sapphire eyes.  He was a collector of all pretty things.  Jewels, metals, women... Whatever he fancied at the moment and he fancied her.  So his mind was made up to keep her for his very own...

If there are ever anything more than half truths between them, it would be a miracle. But she is content for the moment, being lavished with kisses. To be worshipped, that is all she ever wanted. And in this cavern, now made warm with their activity, she felt just that. It wasn't enough, though. The delicate pink and white shells of her ears prick towards him, listening to his explanation. Physical, huh? She glanced back over her own shining body. Klaudius didn't seem to mind physical.

She could tell that was all she'd get out of him tonight. The last of the light was draining from their hide, bathing them in shadows. She couldn't read his face, hidden behind darkness and the subtle glint of silver. She could feel his gaze though, possessively drinking her in. As bitter as she felt about it, she needed him for the time being. His ties her were valuable, if volatile. It was better than nothing. Coyly, she made her way back to his side, nestling up against the pale of his flank.

"That sister of yours has no sense of diplomacy." She mused, kissing the join of his wing and shoulder softly. Working her way from shoulder to neck, she lingered a moment at the curve of his jaw, nibbling there in a play of submission. Let him believe that he owned her. It was easier that way. "I don't think she likes me very much. You, she might tolerate, but I don't think she'll allow me to stay on this island much longer." The pastel mare confessed with a silvery laugh. And if that happened, so be it. There were other kingdoms who'd take her in.

He has almost drifted into a light slumber as her lips explore.  The faint sensation comforting him like the rocking of a newborn.  His hip had shifted to allow his left hindlimb to rest.  It had been a stressful few days since coming to the island.  The inhabitants disapproval of them didn't wear on him the same as it did the cream mare.  Her worries made known to him, his ears swiveled to capture her words.  Through shuttered eyes he grins softly before awakening them to find her, "We will be fine here.  She is just threatened by our presence." He chuckles softly, "She must make an example out of someone.  Don't confuse fear for power, My Dove. She is a young ruler."  His silver eyes slip from her gaze.  Tightening his lavender wings to his barrel once again.  His hooves clip on the stone flooring as he turns to her.  Muzzle reaching to leave a kiss on her cheek, "Good night Sabra."

He wasn't one to linger.  This her nest if, you will, he looks to the darkness outside of the cavern walls.  Slowly he moves to the opening.  The moonlight sheening off his light pelt.  Glinting off the metal across his forehead.  His eyes turn to the clear sky.  Drawing a visual map of each consultation he has grown to know so well.  Having lived many years of solitude within the skies, you learn patterns.  What looks like specks of light to many, is directions and seasons to a creature of the sky.

Nightfall offered the best flying conditions so with a lazy stretch of his wings he lifted himself - from the rocky ledge above the sea - into the night air...
