The sound came lightly to his ears as if an eco from a distance as he stood wandering the labyrinth of his mind. The nicker then made his ears swing back as he snapped back to the now his ears flicking forward stiffly for a moment before relaxing. His blue eyes coming to focus on the one that offered her voice to the wind a black mare. She asked if it was alright to join him as he looked her over some more and let that same gust of wind bring him a scent of her. The mare was new to this place but the sea had started to leave its touch on her. Ard took in how she was a bit on the thin side but, he was sure that the fertile lands of Nerine would offer up to her their fruits to grow strong on.
The pause between the two of them was a fleeting moment before his silvery voice answered her, “ Nerine is still a free kingdom. I hold no claim to this place so, yes you may join me.” He bowed his head only slightly to her, “ If that is your wish.” Ardashir relaxed himself muscles shivering some and his tail taking a relaxed position. The three year old was a giant and though his size could make him look intimidating his body language gave another story of openness and a willingness to let someone close.
He had no reason to not trust this mare before so he invited her into this place he had found. He did not mind the company of another and there was enough grass and water to share for now. Ardashir looked to the black mare, “ What brings you to Nerine?” He paused on the question asking her name without really asking for it. “ I am Ardashir by the way. And, this is..” He paused once more, “ Is a hideout.” He chuckled some.
