When the large, white horse turned to face the small, black mare, she made sure to attempt a smile, brown eyes meeting blue. It was nice, not having to flee at the first sight of a stallion, or worry about being stolen from her band. The feeling of safety that had come about from living in Nerine was still a stranger to her, and she found it rather hard to get used to.
"Thank you," she trotted forward to join him, enjoying the give of the plush grass under her hooves. It gave a nice bounce to the movement of her long legs, completely different from where she'd been raised, where her hooves seemed to sink into the ground. She lowered her finely built head, beginning to graze, her pointed ears twisted towards him.
Hearing him speak, she swallowed the mouthful of grass, looking up at the much-larger Stallion. She smiled, and gave a soft laugh. "Didn't really have anywhere else to go. Nerine seemed like a good place, so here I am." She chuckled as he called the area a hideout, and replied, "It's a very fine one. My name is RavenWing, it's nice to meet you Ardashir."
