    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

[private]  [Mature] Darkness is needed for light to shine - Nihlus
    #2
There's holes inside of him, ones he cannot fill. Left there by his own doing no doubt (by his useless wanderings, by his constant complaining, by the distance he placed between himself and his family). Holes that, as time wore on, stopped being fashionable and began to tug at his skin in an uncomfortable way until it began to tear.

Imagine, a boy torn to shreds by loneliness.

He isn't looking when he finds the boy - or maybe he is, he couldn't tell you if he tried - but he is looking when he does. Faintly glowing eyes taking in the wonder of his youthful figure, of the way the boy's forehead glows too. There's a nicker stuck somewhere in the back of Nihlus's throat, but he doesn't put any effort into dislodging it.

Instead, he's approaching, not in a way that would frighten the boy. Slowly and with his ears perked all the way forward, nostrils flaring, breathing in his sky-bound scent.

Even before a word is traded between them, Nihlus reachs out to touch him. His dark black mouth (so contrasted by this boy's blue lips) traces the sharp slope of the stranger's withers, down to the small of his back, tasting his youth and wonderlust, studying the way his skin twitches beneath such a light, teasing touch. There, at the crest of his hip, Nihlus ends his run-on sentence with a careful nip - testing, pushing, needing.

    "Hello, beautiful."

    ...Enjoy.
