They traveled together, she was much less aware of her surroundings. She could hear noises all around, but she did not pay much attention, luckily Delta was very much the opposite. He was very much on edge, prancing around like he was some sort of warrior. She refrained from rolling her eyes, he was her brother after all, instead she tried her best at ignoring the show he was putting on. Surely NO ONE would approach them if he continued prancing around like that.
She asked if he had any other friends simply to strike a conversation with him. They were siblings that is for sure, they shared the same father, but there mothers were different. Father explained vaguely there relation, and that basically meant they had to get along. It was an attempt to get closer to him, a small shred of emotion inside of Mary wanted to truly get to know her brother. I don't have time for friends he responded to her question and she could not help but laugh at his response. Delta! she teased If you don't have time for friends what are you doing here?! He was so serious, he really needed to relax a bit.
The conversation dwindled again, she attempted again to strike up the conversation, this time she asked about his mother. She did not really know Lepis, she seemed involved with the kingdom though. Her question seemed to spark some sort of emotion with Delta, after a moment of thinking he finally responded. Shes kind....generous She was glad to hear that. Thats good! she responded, a little bit of pep in her step she matched his silly stride. Although she caught small mumble under his breath that he was not like his mother, her head tilted in confusion. why is that? her brother was not evil, was he? Delta! you are kind, have you done something unkind? I will forgive you! She wanted to continue the conversation but he broke into a canter and reached out towards her as he passed her. She looked at him for a moment in shock, but she quickly pinned her ears and bolted after him. HEY! no cheating! She laughed as her little legs pounded into the ground, she tried her hardest to get passed him but she galloped right beside him.
